Natural Ingredients:

What’s great about these lipsticks is their healthy lip-loving ingredients, these natural beauties contain the following benefits:

  • Avocado oil: Brimming with essential fatty acids to replenish skin’s natural moisture barrier, avocado also contains Vitamin C to boost collagen production, antioxidants, Vitamin E and biotin for skin, hair and nail health.
  • Beeswax: A natural anti-inflammatory that gives Lip Nourish™ it’s lucious smoothness, making it glide on like a balm.
  • Candelilla wax: From the leaves of the candelilla shrub, this plant-based vegan wax is rich in nutrients and gives lips a smooth satin finish. Softening and protective, it also acts as a stabiliser and emulsifier to stop ingredients from expiring and separating.
  • Carnauba wax: A plant-based, vegan wax from the leaves of the carnauba palm that is hypoallergenic, softening and helps lip products glide on smoothly. It’s also used to thicken the formulation of Lip Nourish™ and prevent it from melting.
  • Castor seed oil: With hydrating and protective essential fatty acids, castor seed oil locks in moisture, promotes healing and reduces inflammation (including the redness of psoriasis).
  • Cinnamon bark oil: With a formidable number of antioxidants from carotene, lutein and eugenol, cinnamon brightens and smooths skin while reducing inflammation. Organic and cold-pressed to retain nutrients.
  • Cocoa seed butter: Abundant in essential fatty acids, antioxidants and anti-inflammatories, cocoa seed butter is an anti-allergen wonder ingredient that deeply soothes while preventing skin disorders. High in magnesium for healing.
  • Cornstarch: Luk Beautifood uses cornstarch to thicken the formulation while maintaining a silky smooth texture.
  • Ginger root oil: Potent antioxidants in ginger neutralise free radicals to reduce inflammation (especially from psoriasis and acne), prompting skin to heal itself and appear smoother, tighter and less red. Organic and cold-pressed to retain nutrients.
  • Iron oxide: These rich red and brown pigments are moisture-resistant, so they won’t bleed into lines around lips.
  • Jojoba: An anti-inflammatory with soothing Vitamin E, jojoba calms and reduces redness for soft, comfortable lips.
  • Juniper berry oil: With antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial properties, Juniper is a hard-working oil that also contains a healthy dose of Vitamin C. Organic and cold-pressed to retain nutrients.
  • Lecithin: This emulsifier (prevents ingredients from separating) is derived from non-GMO soybeans that are high in essential fatty acids to boost skin suppleness.
  • Lemon peel oil: Rich in anti-inflammatories and antioxidants including Vitamin C, flavonoids (phytonutrients that give fruits their colours) and limonins (which is also an antibacterial), organic cold-pressed lemon peel oil heals and brightens skin. Antimicrobials help with conditions like acne and psoriasis.

  • Titanium dioxide: A natural mineral from the earth that is gentle on skin, titanium dioxide helps to thicken and smooth our lip products. It also protects skin from UVA and UVB rays, making it the active ingredient in most sunscreens.
  • Vitamin E: A rejuvenating antioxidant, Vitamin E is a multitasking marvel that minimises fine lines, prevents damage to collagen and elastin, reduces inflammation and improves moisture retention and skin suppleness.
