Last week we received the new Ere Perez Tapioca Cheek Colours and I thought it was about time I did another makeup look for you all! It’s the start of winter now and what better product to feature than the Eye of Horus Cosmetics Winter Solstice Eye Shadow Palette. This solstice palettes are absolutely stunning.

Featuring  8 shades, the eye shadows are highly pigmented for great colour with a mix of matte,  satin and metallic finishes. I used shades dust which is a matte base colour and orbit, a rusty earth red. I’ve never been one for a grey smokey eye as I have brown eyes, so this palette was a perfect for me when I want to move away from summery golds and warm hues. However, I am considering giving the grey smokey eye look a try, watch this space.

I choose a matte lipstick to go with this look to not detract from the dramatic eye: Eye of Horus Cosmetics Velvet Lips in Sorceress Deep Honey. This shade matched perfect with the hues of the winter solstice palette.  I can’t rate these lipsticks highly enough! I’d have to say they are the longest lasting lipstick I’ve used and I love the velvet matte finish. Super creamy and do not dry out!

Eer Perez Tapioca Cheek Colour comes in 2 shades: Tokyo and Paris. I chose Paris, again for a more neutral colour as the eyes were quite colourful. I applied this cheek colour with the new Ere Perez All-Beauty Brush for the perfect cheek colour. You can easily build this for a more intense cheek colour however, you don’t need much product to get intense colour. I can see myself using the cheek colours as a multipurpose product, blush, bronze and eye colour!

For my brows I used Inika Organic Brow Pencil in Blonde Bombshell. This is such a great colour for blondes. It’s slightly lighter than my brows but blends perfectly as I personally don’t like intense brown brows when my hair is not brown.
